Held at Pier 57 on the Hudson in New York City, Versace presented it’s highly anticipated Winter 2011 collection runway show in collaboration with H&M, The high energy event was headed by Donatella Versace, with styling by Joe McKenna, hair by Orlando Pita and Makeup by Tom Pecheux. Serving as a greatest hits mix of iconic pieces from the brand’s history, the collection represented the very best of Italian high fashion at a price point everyone can afford. The launch introduced the highly anticipated designs to an elite guest list of film stars, editors and fashion insiders. Merging runway show, pop-up shop and explosive concert into one evening is no small feat, but Donatella and the H&M team managed to wow with an all-star [model] cast featuring Natasha Poly, Lindsey Wixson and Daphne Groeneveld plus an electric set by [musicians] Nicki Minaj and Prince.
